How do you decorate a hall console table?

Hall console tables serve two primary functions: storage and decoration. The world is your oyster when it comes to decorating your hall table, but here are some ideas we enjoy:
-Resting an artwork or mirror against the wall above it
-Using decorative bowls to hold keys and other daily essentials
-Decorating with table lamps
-Accessorising with gold or brass accents to bring warmth to dark spaces
-Placing baskets underneath for extra storage
-Picture frames, sculptures and indoor plants

Where should you put a console table?

Console tables are a perfect fit for small and narrow spaces like hallways, but that’s not the only place they can go. Here are some of the areas in which console tables function well:
-The living room: Console tables work great in the living room as they provide you with extra surface space for lamps and other decorative accents.
-The dining room: A console table in the dining room may replace a buffet for those with limited space. Place extra cutlery, plates and bowls in your console and leave room up top for home decor items.
-The bedroom: Console tables with storage space are an alternative for a vanity in small bedrooms. Place a mirror on top to complete the piece.

What is the difference between a credenza and a console?

A credenza, sometimes known as a sideboard or buffet, is primarily used in the dining room for extra storage of cups, plates and cutlery. It typically has cabinets and drawers and has short legs.

A console, on the other hand, generally has longer legs and less storage space. It’s also often smaller than a credenza and more narrow. This furniture item is also used in a wider variety of rooms and can serve multiple functions.
