What is tableware?

There are many different bits and pieces that fall under tableware, but in general, tableware is simply anything that you might put on a dining table. What goes on the table differs in each household, and also based on the occasion. To get a rough idea, tableware may include:

-Cups and mugs
-Plates
-Bowls
-Dinner sets
-Other tableware
-Serving boards
-Sugar bowls and creamers
-Teapots
-Ice buckets
-Cutleries
-Gravy boats and casseroles
-Salt and pepper shakers
-Bottles and pitchers
-Cake stands
-Salt and pepper mills

How to clean tableware

Cleaning tableware is simple and can be done effectively with items you’re likely to have around the house. For plates, bowls and glasses, simply soak them in warm, soapy water and wash any residue away with a kitchen sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners and steel wool unless absolutely necessary.

Cutlery care is also made easy with the help of warm water and a splash of vinegar. After washing, soak your forks and knives in a diluted vinegar mixture and use a cloth to polish each piece.
