The late eighteen hundreds was a time of movement, when many of the wide open spaces of the world were being settled by brave pioneers. The heavy furniture designs of the Georgian period were being adapted to a lighter and more country cottage style, offering far more practicality and a new sense of purpose. Our Settler collection is a celebration of those simpler and more authentic times.
Reminisce on the simpler and more authentic times if the 1800s, where heavy furniture of years past was adapted to be lighter and suit a more country style. Settler exerts a traditional style, with reclaimed panels used creatively, with depth added by an urban handmade Sundried Ash finish. The result is a collection that is sturdy and stylish, lasting you a lifetime.
Sundried Ash, with its neutral tone, is one of themost popular finishes, as it complements all decor. Made from water-based materials and applied using a by-hand French polishing technique, it highlights the reclaimed wood's nail holes, knots and other imperfections, while inspiring warmth and reflection.
Please note: This product is made of or contains reclaimed (or recycled) timber.Holes, cracks, splitting, roughness and unevenness are all inherent imperfections which add to the character of the item. No 2 pieces will be the same in colour or texture. This is a natural occurrence for this type of product.

At LivingStyles we enjoy making our customers order delivery a smooth process. Once your order has dispatched, a tracking notification email will be sent to advise that the item(s) on order has now left the warehouse and is with the driver.
The tracking information will include the Courier business name, tracking number (if applicable) and the Courier contact details.
One of the two delivery services will be provided depending on the item:
- Bulky & Heavy Items
We will use a local or interstate removalist for a safe and friendly delivery. The customer will be contacted directly at least 1 day prior to the delivery ETA. Please note that heavy and bulky items can only be delivered to the ground floor. - Smaller Items
A general Carrier such as Australian Post or Toll for example would be selected for the delivery. In the case that you are not present at the time of delivery, the driver will leave a card for you to pickup your order from your local post office or if with one of our other general carriers, they too will leave a card to contact directly to organise a suitable re-delivery time. A tracking number to follow online is generally the service provided.
