Global SAI series is aimed at the true knife aficionado or professional chef. It can only be produced in relatively small quantities and we are privileged in being one of only three countries in the world which will witness the introduction of these knives.

Stylish, ergonomic handles. This brand new handle design, using Globals experience has been designed in consultation with many chefs and knife experts to allow the utmost comfort and safety in use. The Global Sai range has 7 dots along the handle to represent the 7 virtues of the traditional Japanese bushido.

3-ply special steel. The blade consists of a central core material to keep an extremely hard edge, while being surrounded by layers of softer, corrosion resistant stainless steel. The outer edges of the blade are made from the same steel as the handles making the forge between blade and handle even stronger.

Hammered blade finish. Each knife is individually hammered which gives the knife its stylish look. It is also designed that way so the small hollows create air pockets like a granton blade, reducing the chance of food sticking to the blade while cutting.

Delivery Information

At LivingStyles we enjoy making our customers order delivery a smooth process. Once your order has dispatched, a tracking notification email will be sent to advise that the item(s) on order has now left the warehouse and is with the driver.

The tracking information will include the Courier business name, tracking number (if applicable) and the Courier contact details.

One of the two delivery services will be provided depending on the item:

Bulky & Heavy Items
We will use a local or interstate removalist for a safe and friendly delivery. The customer will be contacted directly at least 1 day prior to the delivery ETA. Please note that heavy and bulky items can only be delivered to the ground floor.
Smaller Items
A general Carrier such as Australian Post or Toll for example would be selected for the delivery. In the case that you are not present at the time of delivery, the driver will leave a card for you to pickup your order from your local post office or if with one of our other general carriers, they too will leave a card to contact directly to organise a suitable re-delivery time. A tracking number to follow online is generally the service provided.

Change-of-mind

In addition to your statutory warranty (for purchases that do not meet merchantable quality, fitness for purpose, or match the description), we provide a 30-day satisfaction guarantee for most of our items - i.e., items marked as eligible for a 30-day “change-of-mind” return in the Product Details section.
